Define God
Defining God is a tough task and requires rational thinking.
My favorite quotation “There are no atheists in foxholes“
How do we define god? Whether we believe in God or do not believe in God, we need to define it to progress further.
Vedanta provides a definition.
The definition is given in “Taittiriya Upanishad” in one line.
“Satyam Jnanam Anantham Brahma”
Satyam means Real or the nearest word can be the truth.
Jnanam means knowledge.
Anantham means infinity.
Brahma is synonymous with God.
If we need to understand how the above line defines god, we need to be experts in Vedantic philosophical systems and Sanskrit, after unpacking the above complex line, here below the definition in plain layman terms.
God is limitless in space and time, Having Infinite existence and limitless, and is real.
