Kanda Shashti Kavacham, also known as Skanda Sashti Kavasam, is a famous Tamil hymn in praise of Lord Murugan.
It was composed by Sri Devaraya Swamigal in the 19th century.
The hymn is sung particularly on festive occasions, such as during Kanthar Sashti in October-November.
It is believed that regular chanting of this hymn can help one to be successful in their day-to-day life.
